Who we are, and what we do not do well

This site is operated by Rose Tourist, exclusive operating partner of MICEVIET on Phu Quoc. We hold the contracts with resorts, transport companies, boat operators and production crews on this island, and our own coordinators run the programme on the day.

A European-style plaza with colorful gabled houses and a bronze fountain under a clear blue sky in Phu Quoc.

How the partnership works

Programmes are delivered to MICEVIET service standards and are subject to independent quality supervision. The domain micephuquoc.com is owned by MICEVIET; the operating company on the island is Rose Tourist.

In practice that means two things. The commitments on this site — response times, staffing ratios, contracted weather fallbacks, the post-event report — are standards we are audited against rather than promises we make to ourselves. And you deal with the people who hold the contracts, not an intermediary who has to go and ask.

What we do not do well

Every operator has a shape. Ours excludes some things, and it is cheaper for both of us if you know that before sending a brief.

  • Groups under twenty. The fixed costs of a MICE structure do not spread across that few people. A good travel agent will serve you better and cost less, and we will say so.
  • Flights and ticketing. We quote and operate the ground programme. We will hold group seats through an airline group desk, but the ticketing sits with you or your agent.
  • Mainland visas and immigration advice. We provide verified information and supporting documents. For anything unusual we will tell you to take proper advice rather than guess on your behalf.
  • Agendas needing five parallel breakout rooms. Until the convention centre opens, the island cannot do that comfortably. Da Nang can.
  • Speculative quoting. A detailed quote takes two working days of somebody's time, which is why a refundable card authorisation is required before we produce one.

What happens after the programme ends

The part most operators treat as optional is the part corporate clients are judged on internally. A programme that ran beautifully and produced no documentation still fails the internal review, because the person who signed the budget has to account for it.

Written debriefOn requestWhat worked, what did not, what to change next time

The debrief is the one worth asking for. We write down what went wrong as well as what went well, because a programme that recurs annually improves only if somebody records the friction while it is still fresh.

On customer testimonials

We do not publish quotes from past clients on this site. Corporate MICE clients rarely want their programme described publicly, and a testimonial you cannot verify is worth nothing to a planner comparing three operators.

What we offer instead is a reference: at proposal stage, and with their permission, we put you in touch with a corporate client of comparable size and sector so you can ask whatever you want directly. That is worth more than a paragraph in italics.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

Who actually operates the programme on the ground?

Rose Tourist, with our own coordinators, guides and supervisors. Production, transport and marine activity are contracted to suppliers we work with repeatedly and supervise directly, not to a subcontracting agency.

What does MICEVIET supervision mean in practice?

The service standards on this site are audited rather than self-declared: staffing ratios, response times, contracted weather fallbacks and the post-event report. If we miss one, it is visible outside our own company.

Do you work with agencies as well as direct corporate clients?

Yes, and we are explicit about which role we are playing. What we will not do is sit behind an agency that presents our work as its own operation without telling the client, because then nobody owns the day.
