This is the most common corporate group size we handle and the band where the programme stops being a large trip and starts being an event. Beach galas become viable, buffet service opens up, and coordination becomes a real job rather than something a guide does alongside guiding.
What changes at this size
The gala becomes its own line item
Below 50, a good dinner with an MC is enough. Above it, you need a built stage, a proper lighting rig and distributed sound, because the back of the room can no longer see or hear from a floor-level setup.
Buffet becomes viable
Most resorts open buffet service around 40 to 50. It speeds service considerably and handles dietary variation better than a set menu at this size.
Waves, not a single movement
Transfers split across two or three vehicles, which means departure timing, a lead vehicle and a coordinator per vehicle rather than one guide for everyone.
Function space starts to filter
At 80 delegates you need roughly 176 m² of banquet space. Many smaller resorts do not have it, which begins to narrow the field.

Programme shape
Four days three nights is the natural fit. The island day needs two or three boats at this size, which is worth planning deliberately: assign the boats rather than letting people choose, because it is the best cross-team mixing opportunity in the whole programme.

Questions travellers ask most
How many coordinators do we get at this size?
Guides at one per 28 delegates, so three or four, plus one on-site coordinator per 50, and a programme supervisor from 100. At 80 delegates that is three guides and two coordinators, which is what it takes to run waves properly.
Is a beach gala realistic for 100 people?
Yes, comfortably, in the November to March window. The setup is larger and the power requirement is real, and you need the indoor fallback contracted rather than identified. Above 150 we would start recommending a ballroom.
Can 100 delegates fit in one resort?
Yes, at any of the larger Bai Truong or Bai Dai properties. The constraint at 100 is not rooms. It is finding a property with 53 rooms and 220 m² of banquet space free on the same dates, which is a scheduling problem rather than a capacity one.
How many boats does the island day need?
Two or three, depending on vessel size. We assign delegates to boats rather than letting them choose, because that is the single best cross-team mixing opportunity in the programme and self-selection wastes it.
